Spanning Rows Using the rowspan Attribute
Last update on: 06-13-2008The rowpsan attribute does much the same thing as the colspan attribute, but it works in the opposite direction; it allows cells to stretch vertically across cells.
When you use a rowpsan attribute, the corresponding cell in the row beneath it must be left out:
